Futaba Megatech 3PM - 3CH 40Mhz FM
With the great success of the Megatech 3PMFS set, the next step forward from Futaba was to make a synthesised version of the transmitter, allowing virtually instantaneous channel changes, without the need to carry a vast range of transmitter crystals. Channel numbers are changed in the transmitter programme, with the frequency information being displayed on the LCD display screen at all times.
All of the other 3PM features are included in this new set, which is perfect for the ambitious club or national driver in today's ultra competitive racing climate. Futaba 6EXP (aero/heli) 2.4GHz
The new 6EXP has been selected as Futaba’s first 2.4GHz aircraft/ helicopter system, and utilises the highly advanced FASST (Futaba Advanced Spread Spectrum Technology) system to give the ultimate in performance and control. Allowing switch on and go operation, and with amazing interference rejection, this set will become the standard by which all others are measured.
With this set there will be no more waiting for a frequency to become clear, and fellow fliers cannot accidentally shoot you down by mistakenly switching their set on when it is on the same frequency as you, significantly increasing safety and allowing more flying time at popular flying sites. With the operating frequency changing every two milliseconds, the 2.4GHz FASST system is virtually invulnerable to interference, unlike other less advanced systems that operate on one or two fixed frequencies.
Dual antenna diversity selects the best signal from the two receiver aerials, so there is a solid RF link, no matter what the attitude of the model.
The tiny R606FS receiver weights only 9.8g (7g without case), but is a full range receiver that works every bit as well in normal or giant scale models, allowing simple swaps between models. Unlike other systems, there is no separate aerial module that has to be installed, increasing weight and taking up more space.
Other features include Pre-Vision Packet Screening Technology that scans the incoming data, and applies sophisticated error correction techniques as well as the Easy Link system which incorporates a unique
ID code in the transmitter, which, when linked with the R606FS receiver, ensures that only this particular receiver will accept commands from its ‘paired’ transmitter.

Able to transmit on either PPM or PCM, this full 7 channel set also adopts the very popular “Jog Dial” programming system from its bigger brother, the FF9.
This enables programme selection to be just a twist away - press to confirm selection, then twist again to adjust and confirm settings.

Futaba Field Force 9 Super - 9CH 35Mhz FM
With the success of Futaba’s original Field Force 9, it was only natural that the new generation FF9 Super was going to be something special. Now with 4 more model memories - that’s 12 in total - a new yellow/green LCD for even clearer display, the FF9 Super features some very welcome software enhancements including the addition of 2 new five point curve mixes, giving much greater flexibility when fine tuning the mixing and the stopwatch function increased to 3 circuits.
For heli flyers, gyro mixing is now offered, together with new delay functions being added to all throttle and pitch curve menus. A further Swashplate Mode - 3 servo, 120° CCPM - brings the total number now to six. The switches controlling Idle Up and Throttle Hold can now be assigned.
Glider pilots benefit from a wealth of new features including; 4-circuit Aileron Differential, Butterfly>Elevator mix with delay, 4-circuit camber mixing and the addition of Flap 2 to the existing Flap 1>Aileron mixing. Futaba 14 MZ Combo Set
Futaba have taken radio control technology to a completely new level with the release of the new 14MZ system, leaving so-called competitors far behind. The 14 MZ is a revolution, not just an evolution of existing technologies, just look at some of the features - 14 channels, dual processors, 2048 PCM modulation, full colour touch screen, wireless frequency setting system, Lithium Ion transmitter battery and many more!
No longer will jet pilots, large model enthusiasts and other leading flyers have to struggle with a limited number of available functions, 14 functions allows for every function to be precisely controlled or mixed.
Utilising the unique G3 PCM 2048 code gives Futaba's renowned servos even greater accuracy, in fact twice that of PCM 1024 code. This combines with a frame rate 40% faster than the 9Z, the leading previous generationset, so that more data is transmitted in the same time, resulting in even more precise control and virtually instantaneous servo response.
To enable quick and easy access to the powerful software of the 14 MZ, Futaba have developed the most advanced colour LCD touch screen ever seen in a radio control transmitter.
A simple touch of the screen will take you directly to the menu you need, no more scrolling through menu after menu to find the one you want. Features include a crystal clear 640 x 240 pixel HVGA screen, adjustable backlighting and contrast and transflective technology (layered transparent and reflecting surfaces to give optimum visibility even in daylight.
Included compact flash card for data storage and transfer, gives the ability to store up to 100 model memories and allows the upload of digital images of your models so that they can appear on screen when that model memory is selected. A further feature is the creation and storage of audio/music files, so that you can fly to music, or just listen to your favourite tracks between flights, alternatively you can act as your own aerobatic flight sequence "caller" by recording voice prompts.
The audio recording and playback feature means that you can record and store up to 24 voice prompts using the built in microphone, these prompts will then be allocated to specific switches or functions, so that when for example the retract switch is activated, the built in speaker will announce "undercarriage up!" confirming the correct switch has been operated, and removing potential problems where the wrong command is given in a stressful situation.
Note that headphones can be plugged into the 14 MZ so that all audio/music can be heard without distraction by other sounds, and so that other pilots are not distracted by the audio/music output from the 14MZ.
Another major step forward is the inclusion of multiple outputs from one channel, allowing several servos to be operated by one control on the transmitter, even though they may be plugged into different outputs in the receiver, all this without requiring operation of a mix function.
